Dude.
For the last eight and a half hours I've been writing a paper on Japanese biological warfare in World War II and the epidemiology of the infectious diseases used in said warfare. I've been detailing field testing, civilian casualties, biological agents, methods of infection... pretty much just death, death death. It's been amazing.
I mean. I mean, have you ever, like, just sat down and looked through an epidemiology book? Or a book on bioterrorism? It's some heavy shit, man. Pictures of dead babies and fatality rates and you know, it wouldn't be that hard to launch a full scale biological attack against a country or region. It's easy shit. I mean, these microbes go EVERYWHERE. You can put em in the fuckin' air. You can infect rats and dogs and birds with plague fleas. You can just pour shit into the water. If you wanna get creative, you can infect the food. Feed contaminated candy to children. It's so EASY. So easy that it's actually really, really terrifying. I think I'm so overwhelmed by the sheer power of biological warfare that I'm actually a little giddy.
It's an odd feeling.
Anyway. I'm just now getting to my section on the bubonic plague and I had to write this journal to take a small break so I could gear myself up for this shit (the plague will be my longest epidemiology section). Just read a bit about the plague. Just for fun. Read about pandemics and plague fleas and fatality rates. It'll either scare the shit out of you or make you feel slightly in awe of such a tiny, perfect killing machine.
It's mostly the latter for me.
I'm a cruel bitch. XD
(But I
ALSO.
WTF.

Tes yeux creux sont peuplés de visions nocturnes,
Et je vois tour à tour réfléchis sur ton teint

I do not think because thinking means knowledge, knowledge means power, power is dangerous, and I'm not allowed to play with dangerous things, therefore, I do not think.
I mean, it happens. Obviously, cause... y'know, Japan and stuff.

Television is funny.
We've got to get out. That's the only way. Pack your things. I'll grab the foodstuffs and first aid shit, you grab the guns...you DID hide them where I told you to, right??
